SALES MANAGER / DIRECTOR OF SALES

POSITION DESCRIPTION:For over 25 years our client has been providing US and International clients with a reliable line of high pressure equipment used for industrial cleaning and surface preparation. Recently acquired by another International player in a related market, they now have the mandate and resources to grow to the next level. As a result, a new position has been created for a Sales Manager/Director of Sales who will assume responsibility for generating company sales revenues. Initial objectives include staffing up the inside sales and customer service functions, followed by creating an outside sales force. In the meantime, the incumbent will carry the responsibility for current outside sales activities. Annual revenues are on the order of $5-7 Million.

SALARY RANGE:$85-95K salary plus bonus to 15% at plan.

REQUIREMENTS
EXPERIENCE: In order to be COMPETITIVE for this position, you must have:

•4 to 6 years of sales and sales management experience with high pressure or similar industrial equipment;
•experience in building a sales and customer service department from the ground up.

EDUCATION:Degree in a technical discipline or business preferred.
