Senior level journeyman trader specializing in a single commodity market and is experienced and recognized as a senior contributor in the trading efforts. This job leads in the development of new work processes and trading strategies. Incumbents matched to this job should be at the most senior non-managerial level in the job family.ConAgra Trade Group, a division of ConAgra Foods, is seeking a Renewable Fuels Merchant. Incumbent is responsible for origination, marketing and execution within the existing renewable fuels business with a focus on ethanol and biodiesel supply chain management. The key objective for this position is to create sales and growth in the market place, to develop arbitrage and risk management skills and to reach and exceed profitability goals.2 to 3+ years experience in the Agricultural or Energy industries. An emphasis in renewable fuels is preferred but not required.
BS or BA in Marketing, Finance, Ag Business, Ag Economics or Economics is preferred
Must be aggressive, self-motivated and able to work under pressure
Must have excellent communications, computer and public relations skills
Must be able to maintain confidentiality
