Regional Salesperson - Foodservice

Established fresh produce processor/distributor is seeking a Regional Salesperson for their Foodservice program, based in Seattle WA. Key responsibilities include: Management of current customer base and development of new business in the Seattle/Tacoma area. Development of new and innovative produce foodservice programs based on customer needs. Achieving revenue and profitability goals. Communication with VP of Sales and Marketing on foodservice sales strategy. Local and regional travel expected.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements include: College degree and 5+ years of experience in sales management for a food company, specifically focused on foodservice channels. A solid understanding of the produce industry and an extensive network of foodservice contacts in the Seattle/Tacoma area. Candidate should be high energy and tenacious with passion for the job. The ability to interact with sales, buying and operations with a "do what it takes" attitude. A "hands-on", entrepreneurial, creative, motivated, customer service-minded individual. Strong computer and organizational skills, planning and project management skills are required. Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.


Compensation includes: base salary at $50K-$70K, bonus, 401K, health insurance, company car.
