Recruitment Advertising Inside Sales

JOB TITLE: Recruitment Multi Media Sales Representative
DEPARTMENT: Advertising

JOB RESPONSIBILTIES: The recruitment sales representative is required to perform all job-related tasks necessary to generate new business and maintain existing advertising lineage and revenue for all accounts.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
•Must possess professional appearance.
•Must have own reliable and insured transportation.
•Basic knowledge of advertising copy essentials and layout required.
•Basic organizational and time management skills necessary.
•Accurate spelling, basic math, and typing (40 wpm) required.
•Basic knowledge of computers and software (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) preferred.
•Oral and written communication skills required.
•Requires the ability to work independently.
•Must possess a desire to succeed.
•Previous advertising sales and customer-service experience preferred.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Develop new and existing local employment accounts utilizing effective sales presentation skills.
•Develop and maintain a high level of product, industry, and market knowledge.
•Attend trade shows and professional meetings.
•Upgrade advertising schedules in order to give accounts the maximum results possible.
•Appraise accounts of contract performance.
•Maintain accounts records and advertising files.
•Process all advertising for insertion.
•Re-solicit all expiring ads.
•Communicate effectively with management, peers, and other departments.
•Keep management informed of the changing business environment and develop and propose solutions, product changes, and new market research.
•Suggest revenue-producing ideas to management (special employment section, job fairs, etc.).
•Attend and participate in regularly scheduled sales meetings.
