Quotations Specialist

DESCRIPTION
Hubbell Lighting, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of quality residential, commercial and industrial lighting products. Due to rapid expansion several new positions are now open for Quotations and Quotations Specialists to be located at our new Corporate facility headquartered in Greenville, SC. Our Corporate facility is strategically located between Atlanta and Charlotte. The primary responsibility of the Quotation Specialist is to manage an assigned territory to ensure consistent and competitive positioning of brand products. This position interacts with agency sales force, Customer Service, Technical Services, Product Marketing, and Engineering. The role involves support of pre-assigned sales agencies and their ongoing sales efforts through effective pricing management. Will support a wide variety of strategic departmental initiatives, ranging from the study of specific competitive product or pricing issues to the analysis of a specific agency business profile (price/mix, commissions, etc.).

Education: A four-year Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in business is preferred. Related company or industry experience (2 years minimum) and exposure to the agency bidding process, agent/company interaction, negotiation and organizational skills will be considered in lieu of a degree. Experience: Four (+) years of quotations, pricing or related experience is needed. Extensive product marketing experience is preferred. An understanding of the lighting industry would be a plus. An understanding of PC based systems (hardware and software) is required. Advanced analytical skills are needed to be successful in this role.
