Responsibilities:
Work with media relations director to raise awareness of company and enhance corporate public relations Write and develop news content-press releases, fact sheets, promotional materials, etc - Execute on corporate communications strategies Coordinate outreach to trade press and other media outlets Pitch product news items and tie business solutions into media coverage Craft messages and develop positioning around key issues and topics. Track and review company and industry news coverage.
REQUIREMENTS
Excellent written and verbal communications skills Demonstrated experience writing corporate communications materials, including a variety of media-related content 5-7 years experience in media relations, corporate communications, or public relations Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent work experience Ability to recognize and distinguish newsy content and get the word out to the appropriate audience Financial services background a plus. Must have a fundamental understanding of financial markets and institutions Effective on-the-spot presenter Self-starter that can handle competing priorities and manage multiple projects at once
