Promotional Sales Representative

Passage Events, a rapidly growing, established national leader in scalable, high-touch experiential marketing is seeking a Program Director to manage a highly-visible, innovative marketing program our Fortune 500 client. This is an exciting three-month opportunity for an analytical, strategically-focused, highly-motivated, seasoned account management professional. The program is expected to run from September 25-December 22, 2006.

The Program Director is responsible for managing all activities associated with our client’s school-based fundraising program in six (6) select markets across the nation. The Program Director manages six (6) Fundraising Program Managers in assigned territories as well as two (2) Seattle-based Telemarketing Associates. Responsibilities include scheduling and staffing events in collaboration with our Field Operations teams, establishing event goals, provisioning event materials and premiums, securing regional storage as needed, and monitoring inventories. This position also ensures that staff is educated and trained on all relevant client programs including a comprehensive knowledge of the products and objectives of each school program.

Additionally, the Program Director is responsible for program pricing, development and on-going performance analysis to ensure client expectations are met or exceeded within budget. Requires regular review of key planning and performance reports used to establish and define program goals and expectations.

REQUIREMENTS:

College degree is required, and appropriate degree in Marketing or Business Operations is preferred.
Minimum 5 years account or field management experience is required.
Minimum of 3 years experience managing and motivating staff is required with at least 2 years of supervising manager-levels.
Experience working with event marketing and interactive marketing promotions is preferred.
Must have excellent presentation skills and possess strong oral and written communications skills
Must have a strong focus on customer service.
Must have out-going personality; be persistent, goal-oriented, and resourceful.
Must be able to “think on his/her feet” and have the ability to conceptualize potential programs with clients, while comprehending various logistical and pricing parameters.
Must be able to thrive in a fast paced environment.
Must have strong computer skills, including all of Microsoft Office
Must be available to work evenings and/or weekends.
