Project Manager - Business Solutions - Sales and Marketing
Business Unit: GE HealthcareFunction: Information TechnologyResponsibilities: This highly visible position is responsible for leading IT projects to support the Sales function in the GE Healthcare Integrated IT Solutions (IITS) business*.
Develop and implement comprehensive IT projects for Sales & Marketing
Identify critical path decisions, make recommendations and influence program leaders and business process owners to maximize project payback* Drive standardization of processes through the use of globally consistent tools and practices* Manage contractors, programmers and analysts from scoping through performance assessment* Manage daily activities, issue resolution and communication across project teams in order to deliver projects on-time, on-budget and as-requested by the business process owners
Manage internal and external project interfaces at multiple organizational levels* Develop & maintain client service relationships with the Sales & Marketing teams
Work closely with the other IT teams to align business processes and systems
Integrate the use of Six Sigma/Lean tools and methodology into project leadership processes~HJ~
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: Bachelors (4-year) Degree in a Business, e-Business, or IT Discipline
Strong process skills combined with demonstrated ability to drive process execution
Demonstrated leadership success in all areas of project management including project initiation, scoping, staffing, scheduling, costing, risk management and communication
Understanding of Sales processes and systems
Outstanding and highly effective communications skills
Analytic, creative and business focused problem solverDesired: * Prior experience in Sales IT projects
Experience in the healthcare or healthcare IT industry
Experience managing onshore/offshore contracts, programmers or IT analysts
MBA, other advanced degree or GE Program graduate
Ability to travel globally
