Project Director - Market Research

Cogent Research – a boutique firm providing information-based marketing consulting services for Fortune 500 companies in the financial and pharmaceutical industries – is seeking two experienced Marketing Research Project Directors. Located in Cambridge (just steps from the Alewife T stop) in a state-of-the-art facility, we offer intellectually invigorating work, an environment that encourages growth and development, the latest technologies and service offerings, and a chance to work on all facets of projects from start to finish. Qualified candidates will:
-Independently conduct all aspects of the research process including client contact, project planning, methodology development, instrument design, moderating, analysis, and reporting.
-Manage and coordinate the activities of other internal research team members to ensure that data collection and data processing proceed as planned, and projects meet prescribed deadlines and budget projections.
-Actively participate in marketing activities, including marketing visits, proposal writing, and other activities associated with securing new business.
-Provide strategic interpretation of research findings and actionable recommendations to further clients’ business plans.
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of marketing research experience – preferably in the field of financial services or life sciences and pharmaceuticals – excellent writing and organizational skills, and an appreciation for providing our customers with excellent service while working in a fast-paced environment at a time of rapid, but controlled growth.
