Program Manager

Job Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for developing and implementing marketing programs including managing the creative development of integrated marketing communication programs. Individual must be able to develop effective marketing programs, serve as a consultant with internal customers and a liaison with creative vendors, including internal creative resources and agency of record, managing programs from development through implementation and measurement, including ensuring proper measurements/KPIs are set and a post-mortem report of the program.Responsibilities will include segment and/or product marketing programs, new product launches, ad campaigns, public relations, printed collateral, newsletters, promotions, trade shows and other marketing projects, ensuring all elements/tactics of the campaign are progressing, ensuring the program stays on-time, on-budget. This individual is also responsible developing/giving presentations on the program to senior management, providing semi-weekly updates on the status of the program, and ensuring the program meets the company objectives.
Basic Functions of the Position - Demonstrates competency in campaign development, communications and market research principles. Has advanced understanding of project management and possesses a working knowledge and/or understanding of marketing communications, value propositions, brand management, customer targeting and segmentation, and to some degree, price management, codes and standards and product technical knowledge. Leads marketing program development, implementation Interfaces effectively on a regular basis with other members of the Marketing Team, including Market Segment, channel and product marketing teams Interacts in a team environment with members of the project development organization to define the deliverables, timeline, budgets and expected outcomes of a marketing program. Interfaces effectively with customers and members of the field and channel organizations in support of marketing programs. Effectively uses both internal and external resources to achieve the goals of the marketing plan. Effectively identifies the need for, garners participation by and leads cross-functional resources (training (OD), channel mgmt, legal etc) as required to make the marketing program a success. Implements the promotional tactics outlined in the campaign/promotional from the creative development/marketing communication team Ability to manage internal and external integrated marketing communication services support teams to develop and produce marketing communication campaigns and elements. Evaluate vendor recommendations against stated marketing objectives to maximize effectiveness. Ensure programs are designed within allocated budget and tactics are measurable and deliver ROI.
Ability to develop a Creative Brief as a roadmap for marketing communication program development. Brief will encompass market scope, commercial objective, program objective, value proposition, situation analysis, target audience, audience needs, competitive assessment and program evaluation metrics. Ensure compliance with corporate visual standards, brand policies and Legal reviews.
Skills/Experience Required Minimum of 5 years related experience Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or Journalism Writing/editing skills Ability to evaluate creative concepts and executions for effectiveness Program management experience Ability to work in a collaborative environment Ability to build relationships in a highly-matrixed organization Microsoft Office
