OPPORTUNITY: Product Manager, Store Systems

CLIENT:

Position Summary:

2 Strategic, product focused roles to drive the product features for (1) a comprehensive merchandise management application or (2) POS Solutions. Work in conjunction with Sales, Marketing, Development, and Operations/Support.

This role presents many opportunities, including:

Raise Your Profile: Develop industry recognition as an Evangelist for High-Profile Merchandise Management (MMS) or Point of Sale (POS) Systems on behalf of an absurdly profitable retail solutions company
Strategy – Own the MMS product roadmap to include:
· Define Product Features and define for Development
· Manage 3rd part vendor/Channel Relationships
· Manage “name” retail client accounts
Create the Value Proposition to include:
· Work with Marketing to develop collateral around product(s)
· Develop procedures support and enhance the sales process.

REQUIREMENTS
EXPERIENCE ENUMERATED BELOW:

· Background provides retail operations experience, e.g., finance, buying, merchandising, planning, distribution, inventory control, point of sale, time & attendance…
· Strong product management experience in retail software – e.g., Oracle/KhiMetrics/Retek, DataVantage, SAP/Triversity, JDA or similar enterprise retail software solutions.
· Experience in specialty/general merchandise retail operations, technology assessment and point-of-sale/merchandising software.
· Ability to analyze data and situations in order to make professional recommendations and/or to support key initiatives.
· Excellent communication skills. Spanish language skills a plus.
· This position requires the ability to travel.
