Product Manager - Attachments

Develops product plans (including attachments), marketing plans, pricing and competitive strategies that achieve company sales and profit targets. Assist sales activities by establishing introductory strategies for products, attachments, pricing and advertising. Conducts market surveys and manages market intelligence. Develops the product marketing message and training materials. Manages the new product and options introduction process. Acts as the sales support help desk for distributors. Assists Director to establish marketing, action plans, and the achievement of the action plan.Monitors monthly sales and SOM data and develops proposals based on industry and KUD distributor analysis to meet or exceed the company targets. Develops mid term strategic proposals to achieve the company’s mid-term sales and market share goals.Proposes actions and strategies that increase machine profit margins year over year in line with company objectives.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree in business related field, technical education, engineering or marketing. Minimum two years experience with a construction equipment manufacturer(s) in a similar sales, service or marketing capacity. Working knowledge of construction or agricultural equipment sales, product support, engineering and/or product marketing functions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Proficient in personal computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Word and e-mail. Patience, persistence and problem solving skills are very important. Accuracy and attention to detail are required.
