Product Analyst I/II

This role contributes to state management through the design, implementation, and maintenance of key analyses applied to multiple states.

Additionally, the Product Analyst may be involved in or manage projects within the Commercial Auto group.

Responsibilities include:
- Understanding product performance, competitive dynamics, and the regulatory environment.
- Monitoring and analyzing product, pricing, distribution, and marketing decisions to identify opportunities.
- Participating in price setting and decision making with the State Manager.
- Analyzing data, identifying trends, and making recommendations.
- Supporting product development, pricing, marketing and claims processes.
- Communicating with operations, claims and other corporate functions.
- Opportunities for travel to meet with agents and gain an understanding of the market.

Qualifications include:
- For a Product Analyst I, 1-2 years of analyst work experience with a proven record of actionable results.
- For a Product Analyst II, 3 or more years experience or a master's degree in math, statistics, economics or MBA.
- Excellent problem-solving, statistical, and analytical skills.
- Experience with a variety of analytical tools and techniques.
- Natural inquisitiveness, strong attention to detail, and creative problem solving skills.
- Ability to successfully interact with a range of internal and external people.
- Positive, proactive attitude.
- Strong spreadsheet & Microsoft Office skills (intermediate level). Previous MBI or SAS experience, a plus.
