Perlite Americas Operations Manager

Our client, an international leader in industrial minerals located in the United States has an opening for a Perlite Americas Operations Manager. This person will oversee the management of all the United States Harborlite Plants. They will provide leadership to the operation managers at the manufacturing facilities to ensure the highest quality production in the most cost effective manner whilst maintaining a culture and environment of safety and high performance. REQUIREMENTS
We are seeking candidates with the following skills and qualifications:

1.BA or MS, Business or Engineering Processing would be preferred.

2.Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.

3.Minimum of (5) years engineering & processing experience, with a minimum of (3) years management experience.

4.Should have a wide range of current information, technology and industry affecting functional areas. Ability to develop, initiate and implement recommendations for operating costs as well as improving the competitive position and the profitability of the operation.

5.Excellent project management skills.

6.Excellent planning, budgeting and negotiating skills.

7.Excellent communication skills both oral and written, as well as solid interpersonal, supervisory and problem solving skills.
