MarketSource has an opening for Palm, Inc. Retail Marketing Specialist in your area servicing various retail and carrier accounts representing Palm, Inc. handheld computing and smartphone products. These positions have flexible hours, primarily Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 6:00 pm. In addition these positions require some weekend travel for regional and national events. These are permanent part-time positions, not seasonal; therefore we are looking for candidates that are searching for a long- term stable source of income.


Essential Job Functions

Increasing product and brand awareness by educating in-store sales reps and consumers to maximize product sales, executing marketing programs in the field, and implementing retail market strategies
Participate in local, regional and national events, trainings, and demo days as requested
Timely field reporting as specified by management

Required Skills

Possess excellent communication skills
Personal integrity, character, and a positive attitude
Strong computer knowledge and Internet access
Local travel required for all positions
Must be a self-starter, results-driven
Previous product demonstration experience a plus
Retail/training/sales experience and knowledge of handheld computing and smartphone products a plus
