PROJECT MANAGER, CRM MARKETING

Using CRM tools, this Project Manager will identify, recruit, and retain potential ACS/ACS CAN advocacy volunteers, members and donors to be used as appropriate to further the work of the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network and National Government Relations Department.This position is responsible for implementing ACS/ACS CAN’s CRM direct marketing campaigns. Works closely with ACS CAN and NGRD staff to implement projects as assigned (e.g. the learning lab project). Responsible for end-to-end production management including creative trafficking and approvals for copy, legal and audit of live approval process. Manages overall program evaluation to ensure all activities are tracked and tested to maximize return on investments and quality control improvements are realized. Manages data mining and CRM analysis to identify internal and external markets and for strategic development and implementation of Acquisition programs. Responsible for project schedule coordinating with both ACS staff and vendors to ensure timeliness of drop dates and other dates for each individual appeal. Assists with list recommendations & strategy for the project. Supports fiscal management of all project budgets.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Business management, Marketing or related field. Four to six years marketing experience or direct mail/marketing experience, preferably in a nonprofit organization. Production and/or vendor experience. Must demonstrate strong writing, organization, and presentation skills. Advanced project management and program skills. Excellent computer skills including spreadsheets, PowerPoint, and database management. Strong analysis/problem solving skills. Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment. Some travel required.
