Operations/Customer Service Manager

Airolite is a leader in developing products that excel in performance under the latest test procedures and code requirements. We manufacture welded louvers, custom grilles, sunscreens, and sunshades. Our Regional Sales, Marketing and Engineering office, located in Marietta, OH is currently seeking an experienced OPERATIONS/CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER. Job duties/requirements would include, but are not limited to:

Responsibility for the P&L Statement
Have a vast understanding and the ability to create strong relationships with Sales Representatives and Representative Organization/Distribution
Have a thorough knowledge of Architectural and Construction Industry and Products
Be able to Manage Multiple Projects
Experience with Estimating and Take Off's
Must be strong at negotiating with Sales Reps and Customers
Must understand manufacturing and keep a strong relationship between the Sales/Engineering office and the production facilities.
Short and long-term strategic planning for expanding and updating products and sales channels.
Identify and find solutions to field application problems.
Assist in the hiring, training and development of a highly skilled Customer Service staff. This includes completing performance appraisals, recommending ongoing training for team members, addressing discipline situations as necessary and making staffing recommendations.
Provide technical assistance and feedback to subordinates, resolving conflicts as needed.
Display excellent communication skills with external contacts, other departments and employees within the area, both verbally and in written communications and documentation
Maintain quote tracking and Rep follow-up process on outstanding quotes to establish closure rates and improve overall order flow.
Identify repeat SDR requests and construction that can be standardized and/or new products developed.
Experience with the Engineered Product industry
Implementing Lean Manufacturing principles in the office
Must be able to implement and make changes in Business Flow, and Processes
REQUIREMENTS
SPECIAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Position requires a 4 year degree
3-5 years of progressively more responsible work experience in sales/customer service
Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be a self starter, who can prioritize tasks
Must possess strong leadership skills and excellent customer service skills.
Must possess a strong sense of ownership for Airolite and its products.
Must be able to exercise independent judgment
Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, Databases and Power Point
Familiarity with SAP and AutoCAD desired
