We are seeking an Online Marketing Analyst to execute online campaign strategies, measure their success through data analysis, and make recommendations to maximize effectiveness based on findings. The successful candidate will also provide ongoing support to the Online Marketing Manager for any assignments as directed. As an employee of a small company, you will have the opportunity to work closely with all levels and all areas of the organization. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in learning and being involved in a great many online initiatives including PPC, shopping sites, SEO, affiliate and email marketing, surveys, RSS, and blogging.Responsibilities•Analyze website analytics data. Scrutinize in order to identify technical/usability/shopping cart abandonment issues. Formulize and present actionable recommendations based on your analysis and best practice research, implement suggested changes, then track the outcome
•Analyze click and conversion data, expenses, return on investment (ROI) and other key performance indicators
•Apply various analytic methods to discover and interpret information from multiple data sources
•Produce weekly/monthly performance summaries by tracking, measuring and analyzing website traffic patterns and online buying behavior. Recommend changes based on noted trends in data.
•Create A/B and/or multivariate tests as directed. Create clear observations, analysis, and conclusions for team presentation•Execute internet marketing initiatives to meet strategic business goals and objectives
•Recommend website changes and modifications that will attract more customers, increase sales and improve customer satisfaction. Work collaboratively with the IT team to ensure website modifications are clearly communicated and meet the desired objectives
•Expand profit generating keyword lists using both in-house tools and commercially available products. You will also be responsible for managing the propagation of these lists to ensure consistency amongst the channels (PPC, seo, shopping sites, etc)
•Document project business requirements, then translate into actionable tasks for the IT team to accomplish
•Help drive the decision on an enterprise reporting solution. Will also work with IT to manage the implementation, and create reports that provide insight into the performance of RSI’s websites/online marketing programs
•Continuously research competition and make pricing, merchandising and other strategy recommendations based on findings
•Recommend new opportunities to promote products
•Fully document processes and program changes
•Create and execute test scripts before new programs launch or significant program changes are put into production to ensure an error free rollout•Manage company blogs and RSS feeds
REQUIREMENTS
Required
•Proven analysis and data reporting skills
•Online marketing experience
•Experience documenting business requirements
•Change management/QA testing experience
•Excel proficiency
•Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and analytical skills
