You’ll receive 2 weeks paid vacation to start, 3 weeks after 3 years, and 4 weeks annual vacation after 5 years. You’ll also receive 3 personal days per year, 8 holidays, and a paid holiday break between Christmas and New Year’s which serves as an extra, “mini vacation”.

OUTREACH SPECIALIST
What We’re Looking For:
We seek an experienced Outreach Specialist who will assist with the implementation of the department’s outreach strategies. In this role, you will conduct outreach presentations and activities at various local events, community agencies& businesses. You will also identify and initiate contact with local business and agencies in order to secure permission for the display of enrollment materials.
Other duties include responding to staff and parents requests for information or services; provide supportive and referral services to families regarding child care options and other community resources. Perform childcare orientations at county/government Regional offices, One-Stop/Work-Source Centers; acts as a liaison with agencies.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities You Should Possess::
KNOWLEDGE:
Must have excellent communication, customer relations and presentation skills. Requires analytical and problem solving abilities. Requires considerable accuracy and ability to produce in a timely manner. Must be flexible and able to multi-task while working in a collaborative, team environment with a positive attitude. Must have ability to work with diverse groups.
Requires the exercise of some independent judgment and discretion in analyzing facts and circumstances and in the determination of actions to be taken within the limits of standard practice. Involves application of broad knowledge of contract funding terms and CSI policies and procedures.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor of Science/Arts degree from an accredited university or equivalent. Related work experience in case management/human services/client/vendor management/child development may be substituted for college level education.
EXPERIENCE:
Experience working with families receiving subsidized child care or other social support services. Experience in marketing, outreach or sales would be applicable.
