Field-based Managed Care marketing expertise for Regional Account Directors, Regional Account Managers, and all Field Sales Counterparts in the Regional Business Offices.
Regional/National Managed Care presence/knowledge for: MC product marketing training, account pull-through, account push-through, customer driven programs, strategic managed care direction, signature program development / roll-out, tactical administration of managed markets programs / processes affiliated with customer activities, and corporate operating procedures.
Develop more robust relationships and interfaces with field sales, tactical and strategic customers.
A Managed Markets liaison between the brand teams/home office and account management for strategic and operational support
A Managed Markets presence in the field to further US Managed Markets priorities together with the sales goals of our colleaguesRole Responsibilities:
Participate in and direct Managed Markets Marketing and Pull/Push-through activities in assigned Region/Account(s).
Provide direct customer support for Regional and National Account Managers through the Account Team Management process.
Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders in assigned region / account(s).
Manage multiple projects / activities related to Managed Markets supported products and customer marketing.
Provide Regional Managed Market knowledge and training to field sales and marketing teams.
Manage the tactical workflow of Managed Markets programs in assigned region/account(s).
Provide customer feedback to marketing teams for brand planning purposes.
Provide input/feedback on marketing activities in development.
Meet monthly for Managed Markets training/best practice sharing.
Provide brand and signature knowledge to Regional Account Directors, National Account Managers, and Regional Account Managers.
Serve as the communication link for Managed Markets activities to Account Management (excluding contract, sales, and select operational activities) and back to corporate offices.
REQUIREMENTS
Education:
Undergraduate degree in relevant field required.
Master's Degree strongly preferred, but can substitute work experience.Experience:
Thorough knowledge of U.S. payer marketplace.
Experience in the marketing and sales of pharmaceuticals.
Direct customer relationship management with a pharmaceutical company.
Knowledge of sales organization's culture preferred.
Experience in handling multiple projects / tasks at once.
Experience in working in a highly matrixed organization.
Proven team player.
Experience in handling negotiations with diverse constituents.
Experience in budget management and fiscal responsibility.
A proven track record of working independently and achieving desired results.
Proven track record of professional relationships at a senior executive level
5-7 years significant sales, management, OR operations background within a Managed Markets, Pharmaceutical, OR Customer Group.
For National insurer or PBM positions, the ideal candidate will have completed an assignment in the regional customer marketing role.
For Employer and other "specialty" National jobs, the candidate should have work experience in the segment to give our account management better leverage.Professional Skills:
