Media Relations Specialist This is for a Public Relations firm in Torrance who is seeking qualified individuals with strong communication skills to pitch stories to editors of trade publications and magazines to get articles placed for their clients. Individuals applying must have the ability to grasp new technologies quickly, must be adept at computer skills, and must have excellent phone skills. This job is a high volume phone calling position, with up to 100 phone calls per day. You must be well organized, have the ability to multi-task and withstand high production demands. Communication, confront and persuasive skills are essential for success at this job. Hours are 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Room for growth.
