Marketing Strategy & Insights Manager

Responsibilities•Research and gather information about the marketplace and competitors from external sources to support business objectives.
•Create communications that report and analyze the information - including primary research findings, external data sources, and internal information. Manage the dissemination of all key reports and analysis to key partners in the organization on an ongoing basis, including Intranet capabilities.•Cultivate partnerships with a variety of WellPoint business partners across the brands and business segments.•Provide information and data support for key projects and annual planning.•Package, synthesize and develop programs and presentations that bring together various forms of information sources.•Schedule and coordinate work efforts based upon business priorities, remove obstacles to productivity and exercise sound judgment.•Excellent communication and presentation development skills

•Knowledge of the latest techniques in research and intelligence•Business Savvy- knowledge of financial services and/or health insurance. Healthcare industry experience preferred.•5-7 Years of proven leadership in marketing, market research, consulting, strategic planning, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.LOCATED IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Market Research or Social Sciences, Masters degree preferred, and 7-10 years experience in an analytical business field such as market research, business intelligence, business development or business analysis, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires strong business analysis and project management experience, effective interpersonal and vendor management experience, and the ability to develop successful business client relationships and influence others. Health insurance industry knowledge and experience preferred.
