Marketing Research Manager

Position Location:
Mercury Marine at the company headquarters in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Facilitation of Mercury VoC (Voice of the Customer) Marketing Research initiatives.
Develop research surveys, determine study methodology, conduct customer interviews and lead team members through the Mercury VoC process.
Analyze and present research results in such a way that clearly identifies the business impact of the research findings.

Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements:
Exceptional understanding of Market Research activities in terms of:
Qualitative and quantitative approaches
Survey development & structure
Customer interview techniques
Data analysis, crystallization and dissemination
Ability to lead project teams, work cross-functionally and think critically and strategically.
Ability to work in unstructured environments and to multi-task, with good process orientation and attention to detail without losing sight of the "big picture" value of activities.
Excellent quantitative/qualitative skills; high agility in performing quantitative analysis
Excellent communication skills (oral and written); demonstrated ability to analyze and provide rich insight with detail oriented data
High level of energy and enthusiasm.
Ability to conquer ambiguity. REQUIREMENTS
BA/BS/MS preferably in Business Administration / Marketing Research.
Minimum 1-3 years of work experience in the Market Research field
Statistical software experience (SPSS, etc.)
