The Marketing Operations Coordinator’s role is to coordinate the filing of all marketing collateral across all product lines with the Broker/Dealer firms. He/she will provide general support for the Director of Creative Operations.
Major Responsibilities:
1. Serve as Marketing Operations Coordinator for all marketing and sales support materials
2 Work with Marketing Directors in building a strategy & having a solid understanding in terms of prioritization of what pieces need to be filed with the firms and when
3.Responsible for completing the cover forms required for each firm and the transmission of the required materials to the appropriate firm contacts, coordination of all changes, follow-up & the ability to persuade the firms for approvals
4. Develop & maintain a database of key contact information (names/address/phone#’s) for the submission of product material to each firm
5. Keeping a calendar database of what’s been submitted, where it’s at in the process & when it will be due back in addition to keeping track of what form each firm requires for their submission (hard copy or electronic)
6. Develop and maintain a strong relationship role with the firms contacts.
7 Ability to determine if changes received require further negotiations from the Marketing Director
8 Support Director of Creative Operations as needed
Training/Formal Education/Licenses:
BA degree with emphasis in marketing, communications or related area, preferred, although not required.
Experience:
Two to three years in Accounts payable/Receivable background a plus
Prior Industry (Financial Field) experience preferred, although not mandatory
Excellent computer skills REQUIRED-data base knowledge, Microsoft office including excel & access, stays current and enhances process through technology/systems.
