Marketing Manager/Specialist

Altairnano is a leading supplier of nanomaterials headquartered in Reno, NV. Due to its rapidly growing business, the Company has a need to expand its marketing capabilities.

This position is responsible for managing the day to day marketing functions, projects and programs:

Specifically:

- Define and manage marketing programs in support of strategic business objectives
- Be the webmaster – contribute content to the company website and intranet; manage inquiries and responses
- Manage conference and exhibition calendar and logistics
- Write technical promotional material and coordinate activities to produce promotional materials such as product brochures, advertising materials and conference materials
- Measure and evaluate the success of communication strategies
REQUIREMENTS
To perform in this position successfully, an individual must have:

•5-years Experience working in a B to B environment
•BS degree in Marketing Communications preferred
•Prior experience as web master for a high-tech company
•Events management experience
•Experience managing collateral development
•Excellent problem solving skills, ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently, and good follow-through skills
•Excellent organizational skills
•Experience with MS Office, especially PowerPoint, and Adobe CS, especially PhotoShop and Illustrator
•Self starter, energetic
•Excellent team player
Experience as a biotech or chemical industry technical writer
would be preferred
