Marketing Event Coordinator

Purpose:
Our client, a leading financial company, is looking for a Marketing Event Coordinator.

Job description:
This individual will be responsible for supporting a team of Regional Marketing Consultants.This means working with the team to focus on providing marketing advice and guidance to the firm?s sales force of Financial Advisors around the country and their management, and communicating information about available marketing programs & services. It also involves assisting the RMCs as needed in planning and coordinating details related to various regional events - this may be administrative in nature. The position may also include limited involvement in supporting the local advertising needs for the sales force, and on occasion, working with the in-house local ad team to identify appropriate local ads for placement in various publications around the country. Other daily administrative functions may also be required such as invoice processing, phone work and filing.

Qualifications:
The qualified individual will possess at least 2-3 years marketing/advertising/event experience. Prior corporate experience is indeed a plus. Must demonstrate professionalism at all times. Must be able to work in a team environment, prioritize work load and function in a fast paced atmosphere where deadlines are important to meet. Strong communications skills, both written and oral are also required for the qualified individual. Computer proficiency is also a must (MS Office).
