This position will lead business development (partnership) alliance and acquisition identification, product development, product management, marketing and promotional efforts for Experian’s Portfolio Solutions service line. He/she leads a dedicated product and marketing team as well as leads cross-functional teams to develop and implements marketing strategy, identify new business opportunities, and lead revenue generating programs to drive significant growth for Experian’s account management, portfolio management and event based triggers services.
Specific responsibilities include:
•Identify marketing deficiencies and opportunities that exist within the marketing segment and make changes to address them
•Identifying new business opportunities (partnership and alliance candidates as well as acquisition candidates)
•Developing and executing of specific targeted marketing programs based on customers assigned delivery channel
•Developing strategic plans, initiatives and tactics for all segments
•Delivery channel development, implementation and promotion
•Developing sales distribution and sales training strategies and promotional plans
•Actively participating in overall product market strategy with senior management and marketing communications
•Establishing a product development and management practice that creates an environment that succeeds in:
oGetting need requirements, business problems, and product feedback from customer and translating those needs into product features
oDriving product direction give input from customers, prospects, partners and others to establish both user interface and marketing requirements
oBuilding products that can be successfully implemented by customers
•Develop and lead a professional product marketing/management team

REQUIREMENTS
To qualify for this position:
•Proven success in developing and executing innovative marketing, product and sales distribution strategies
•Extensive experience within credit risk, portfolio management (up-sell, cross-sell, retention and risk management) and financial services operations environment
•A minimum of 10 years business experience with at least 5 years in financial services
•A strong understanding of industry application processing and customer management systems
•Strong product and market development expertise required
•Superior strategic planning and successful tactical implementation skills
•Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams to execute strategy
•BS/BA degree in Business and/or Marketing with an MBA preferred
