Marketing Database Cons 1

Responsible for consulting with clients to identify business requirements and translate marketing needs into complex analysis designs and recommendations. Ensures adherence to compliance regulations and policies. Responsibilities include data mining and predicitive modeling, profitability analysis, new product support, customer segmentation, customer retention/satisfication research and reporting, and campaign testing and evaluation; evaluating potential data sources and opportunities for additional statistical models; participating in development of enhanced management information capabilities; and interpreting and presenting results and recommendations to management. Manages project teams and may provide guidance to less experienced analysts.
Minimum Qualifications


* Minimum Qualifications:BS/BA or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years work experience
4 years college
* Preferred Skills:Experience in marketing database environment in DB2 or Oracle.
Hands on Project Management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Project or similar.
Experience with SQL, SAS, VB, and financial reporting. Understanding of DBMS design and development process in a controlled roll out environment.
Experience with database performance optimization, indexes and relational concepts as well as planned de-normalized data.
Have training in and experience with SQL-based reporting tools (i.e. Crystal Reports, Oracle Reports Developer, SAS tools, etc.)
Masters degree or above.
