Marketing Coordinator-Marketing Communications

Purpose:
Support and coordinate implementation of integrated marketing communication plans that help Grainger accomplish its business objectives.

1.Project Coordination
Provides program support to Marcom Team and assigned business partners
Contributes to business partner relationship and agency management by scheduling meetings, participating in creative kickoffs, monitoring adherence to timelines and budgets
Updates and distributes weekly status reports
Keeps programs on schedule by tracking milestones against agreed-upon schedule
Assists with completion of campaign documents and routes for business partner and management approval
Routes creative proofs to marcom team and business partners, adhering to production schedule

2.SAP Administration SAP is the Enterprise Wide Software platform utilized at Grainger.
Responsible for program management in SAP
Opens job numbers
Initiates PO process by issuing shopping carts
Serves as a SAP resource
Assists with month end reporting and accrual process

Required Qualifications:
Experience Requirements:
§Bachelors degree Preferred in business, marketing, communication or related field of relevant work experience
§2-4 years work experience in corporate and/or agency environment preferred
§Strong attention to detail, organizational and project management skills
§Strong communication, interpersonal skills
§Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
§Ability to work cross functionally in a multi-layered corporate environment
§Ability to work independently and within team environment
§Knowledge of basic business accounting principals preferred i.e. forecasts, budgets, purchase orders and accruals
§Prior experience working with SAP software preferred
