Marketing Coordinator
Job ObjectivesThe marketing coordinator assists the company's chief marketing officer in virtually all aspects of marketing and public relations in obtaining the following results: (1) Streamlined processes and results by assisting public relations and marketing functions; (2) Improved communication and interaction with First American Corporation Communications Department and with First American Centralized Sales Solutions DepartmentJob AccountabilitiesManage eAppraiseIT's electronic library of marketing and presentation materials (includes power point presentations, product brochures, RFPs and other proposals, etc.), updating, filing, etc.
Liaise with First American sister companies, particularly centralized sales solutions and corporate communications
Create processes and track/collect market data on competitors, competitive products, and market trends
Draft press releases
Attend/lead weekly and periodic calls with company's public relations and advertising firms
Read and summarize for the CMO a wide variety of industry publications, articles, etc.
Coordinate conference and meeting schedules for CMO and valuation consultants
Occasional overnight travel
Report to off-site supervisor
Attend and participate in sales meetings
As time allows assist CMO and/or Client Relations Department Manager in other department functions, such as contract preparation and revisionsQualifications
Skills and Experience:Microsoft word, outlook, excel, and power point (visio, project, and/or access a definite plus)
SourceNet system for order entry, tracking, client set-up (on-the-job training provided)
Residential real estate appraisal industry experience a plus but not required
eAppraiseIT's standard and custom products and services (on-the-job training provided)
Prefer: Mortgage lending industry experience
Prefer: experience with First American sister companies, particularly FACS, FAFS, Equity Lenders Advantage, SourceOne, and RES
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to assimilate and summarize pertinent information
Ability to work well in team environmentEducational Requirements
Bachelor's degree with major or minor in communications
