Marketing Communications Manager

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced marcom professional to run his/her own shop. Our client is a key player in the global market for wireless synchronized time systems. Their products enable wireless synchronization of all clocks across and within buildings to a uniform satellite time. Based on GPS (Global Positioning Systems) technology, system components include transmitters and clocks. The company is poised for its next growth spurt and is expanding its internal marketing team to set and implement vertical market strategies. Their value propositions involved productivity improvement and liability-reduction tools for schools, universities, hospitals, manufacturing plants, corporations and government facitilities.The company develops its products and sells directly and though a developing network of channels. The Marketing Communications Manager will manage all internal and external marketing communications programs. In addition to supervising a Graphic Artist and Tradeshow Coordinator, this individual will also manage external communication resources which may be needed from time to time.This position requires at least a bachelors degree and a minimum of six years marcom experience, of which at least 2-3 recent years must have been in a B2B environment. Terrific oral communication, written communication, and presentation skills are required. The right candidates can demonstrate good business acumen, can contribute to strategy development with the management team, and can implement all communication programs. There will be both hands on work as well as planning and delegation of work to internal and external resources. A self-starter who can hit the ground running is needed to establish this new position. Strong interpersonal skills are essential. Travel is not expected to be extensive. This position reports to the VP Marketing.
