Marketing Communications Leader

Business Unit: GE Industrial, SecurityFunction: MarketingResponsibilities: **HOT JOB**In the Marketing Communications Leader role, you will drive and build the MarComm competencies across multiple channels and vertical markets while promoting one of the strongest brands in the world. This position will best suit candidates with a high degree of critical thinking skills, as well as excellent project management and influencing skills. The successful candidate will possess a strong aptitude for scaling from high level messaging to the detail of managing marketing production, and the ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment and exhibit professional communication in all areas of marketing communications.Essential Responsibilities include:
Partnering with the Product GM's and Regional Sales Directors and the Sales Leader -- designing and executing on communication strategies around sustained and new products
Envisioning, Designing and driving execution on promotional campaigns, developing the Trade-Show Roadmap for the Business
Developing processes and metrics for tracking return on marketing investments,
Manage a team of Marketing Communications Program Managers and to ensure that they effectively partner with the Marketing and Sales team in providing Sales Collateral, Mktg Materials and Event/Roadshow management.
Work closely with the GE Security Headquarters Marketing Communications and Marketing teams to have a cohesive MarComm Strategy around our range of products.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: * Must have a Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or Public Relations
At least 5 years of Marketing Communications or Public Relations Management experience required
Experience leading Marketing Communication teams
Must have held budgetary responsibilities for the Marketing Communications function for at least a year.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Visio, Adobe InDesign and Oracle

Must be willing to accept an annual salary that is not more than $150,000Desired: * Masters Degree in Marketing/Communication/PR or Business Administration
Experience designing Communication strategies for new products is a plus
Experience of working in a highly matrixed environment
Experience managing high performing teams
