Marketing Communication Specialist

Job Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Content Development Team Lead, the Marcom specialist will join a group of communications specialists who develop customer-facing communication tools that promote power monitoring and control solutions in the global market, in collaboration with Market Segment Managers, Product Managers and Country Marketing Support Business Development Managers.
Marcom specialists act as Marcom primes on specific product launches and are responsible for working with Project Managers to determine necessary communication tools, write content for tools (print, web and display), develop PowerPoint presentations, and ensure that communication goals for each project are met.
They also act as project primes for the development of tools and collateral in various market segments, in support of the annual business plan.Tools and collateral developed are wide-ranging: from magazine articles and brochures to direct marketing, press releases, product datasheets, sell sheets, advertisements, application notes, and web pages.
The ability to proactively plan and structure communication strategies to achieve a measurable goal, find and analyze reference and research materials, and deliver focused, effective and dynamic written copy are critical.The candidate must meet the following requirements:
Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills for working closely with managers, co-workers, and partner organizations, including a substantial amount of remote communication. Excellent time management and organizational skills and a keen eye for detail. Ability to juggle multiple simultaneous projects and meet deadlines without compromising quality. Understanding of the different writing techniques used in magazine articles, brochures, training materials, the web, and user manuals. Ability to take the initiative, as well as gather and integrate input and reviews from a wide variety of technical and non-technical subject matter experts. Ability to form professional, collaborative and cooperative relationships with people both inside and outside of Outbound Marketing. Experience integrating text, graphics, and other methods to communicate ideas most effectively. Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Quark Xpress, FrameMaker, InDesign and Adobe Acrobat.
Experience with various file formats like TIF, GIF, JPEG, BMP, and EPS. At least five years' experience as a professional writer, and a Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate science or arts discipline.
