IMS is currently seeking an Account Director to work in Norwalk, CT. This position will lead a dedicated team in the development and execution of impactful, sales-driving point-of-sale and premium materials for our industry-leading, adult beverage client. This position will have frequent face-to-face contact with the client.Areas of accountability will include:
Partner closely with key client contacts
Oversee the management of the POS/premium process, including; ideation merchandising, procurement, warehousing and fulfillment
Present and sell IMS services/ideas to senior level client contacts
Gain intimate understanding of client’s brands…be a strategic partner across all client strategic initiatives
Ability to prioritize multiple projects and requests simultaneously
Establish and enforce adherence to timelines while proactively managing client expectations against IMS deliverables
Develop and present strategically sound business building ideas to our clients
Ensure account delivery against consistently aggressive deadlines

REQUIREMENTS
For consideration, candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in related field, and a **minimum of 9 years of retail/CPG/agency management experience. Project management & account management experience in POS and in-store communication coupled with related brand management skills strongly desired. Candidates must have advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project experience.
