Responsibility:
Responsible for providing Global market research data and assistance to product management, marketing, field sales and other Panduit departments as necessary.Analyzes existing and potential products, services, and markets.Collects and analyzes data on established and prospective customers, distributors, and competitors.Collects and analyzes economic trend data.Prepares reports that interpret this information and assist in the development of appropriate programs.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors degree in Marketing or related business field. At least 2 years of proven global market research skills. Knowledge of the Electrical or Data Communications Markets a plus. Experience with company profile (price, product, place, promotion, people, production). The ability to analyze features, benefits, advantages or competitive products or services. Experience with customer surveys; proficient in survey software.Must have the ability to use electronic databases to extract research information. Strong understanding of Lexis Nexis or similar database. Aptitude for utilizing ad hoc reporting tools such as Business Objects. Strong personal computer skills with knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (including Access).
Experience in evaluating financial reports.The ability to plan, organize and complete multiple projects in a timely manner.
