Market Coordinator - Las Vegas

Purpose:
As a Market Coordinator, your role is to assist Market Managers by handling key operational activities, and providing internal and external support for hotel accounts within the assigned market.

Collect and summarize rates being offered on competitor sites.
Participate in and support contract renewal negotiations with existing hotels in local markets.
Train hotels on all of Expedia’s tools and systems.
Lead key administrative functions including acquisition of hotel content. (descriptions, photos, etc.) for Expedia websites.
Handle operational activities and issues related to promotions.
Assist with data and report analysis for assigned market.
Manage Expedia’s information flow to and from hotels.
Troubleshoot issues, conduct due diligence, and resolve problems as they arise.


Requirements
Minimum of 1-2 years experience in wholesale travel, hospitality or customer service/sales role
College Degree preferred
Ability to prepare and present data
Strong organization skills required
Demonstrated success in coordinating multiple projects in a fast paced environment
Proven success establishing relationships with diverse people
Solid verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office required; familiarity with Saleforce.com or other CRM system ideal
