HP Reference Information Manager (RIM) for Databases is an Information Life Cycle Management (ILM) solution that allows companies to optimize database performance, control infrastructure costs, and comply with today's stringent data retention regulations. RIM for Databases ages information to appropriate storage classes according to the value of that information as determined by complex business rules. Core business systems run more efficiently as the burden of maintaining and searching older data is handled by RIM for Databases. Unique options for accessing aged data allow companies to continue to use their native applications for viewing older data, or to move information into open standards based formats that will survive beyond the lifetime of their current business systems.

Job Description

As a RIM for Databases Manager of Product Marketing, you will manage the team responsible for the entire product life-cycle. covering both inbound and outbound activities. The team is responsible for the overall go to market plan, including market analysis, market and product requirements, roadmap, launch plan, pricing and forecasts, sales collateral and training, services offerings, and event support.



REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher (business administration, marketing or technical field of study) 10+ Years of software Product Management or Marketing experience 5+ Years of people management experience Experience in sales, sales support, or marketing Experience managing channel relationships Strong communications and presentation skills Experience with databases (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, Sybase) and packaged applications (Oracle E-Business, SAP R/3, PeopleSoft, Siebel, and others) is a plus Fluency in English; other languages a plus
