Manager Co-Brand Marketing
Responsible for the development and implementation of marketing strategies aligned with co-brand marketing objectives. Ensure that all marketing initiatives meet HSBC quality standards.
Understands credit card marketing, merchant industries and business issues.
Recommends strategies for customer segmentation based on key behaviors, drivers, the competitive environment and past program performance.
Manages implementation of strategies, such as, offers of credit, lifecycle management, leveraging customer touch points to promote branding and program value proposition. Mail promotion’s, e-marketing, and card communication at POS and training. Manages outside vendors and internal departments to provide cost-effective, high quality program executions, creative communications development and third party marketing programs. Occasionally serve as a task force leader for complex initiatives.
Establishes a good rapport with merchants.
Develops and manages budgets and cost containment of marketing programs.
Builds a strong partnership with other co-brand service functions (e.g., sales, risk, finance, client services, technology, etc.) to identify and implement business building marketing ideas.
Ensures that all marketing programs present consistent brand images for HSBC and the merchant. Assuring compliance monitoring is in place, including processes for management of operational risk, in accordance with HSBC and regulatory standards.
Provides management direction to foster effective selection, development and reward of subordinates while contributing to initiatives in support of the Company’s Diversity programs.
Completes other related duties as assigned.

job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business administration, MBA preferred or equivalent experience
Four to six years of marketing experience
Two to three years financial services marketing
Bankcard credit or co-brand marketing experience desired
Strong understanding of credit card business drivers, pro forma financial analysis and business development concepts and strategy
Two to three years of supervisory experience required in financial services marketing preferred
Strong consulting, communication (written, oral and presentation) and relationship building skills
Proven ability to interact with a team environment
Travel Required
