Managed Care Marketing Manager

Responsibilities
- Develop an integrated Managed Care marketing plan to maximize sales and market share associated with formulary positions across all payer segments.
- Develop sales tools and promotional pieces for the Sales team to use to optimize positioning of products in order to ensure pull-through and drive market share within key managed care accounts
- Develop programs that can be leveraged in Managed Care Organizations to attain optimal access and formulary position.
- Work collaboratively with Product and Channel Marketing Managers to advance Managed Care strategies and integration of a Managed Care message into marketing communications and collateral.
- Monitor product formulary status at key accounts; recommend/implement actions to affect positive formulary changes and favorable positioning.
A- ct as Managed Care expert and provide insight and recommendation on market dynamics pertaining to all payer segments as it relates to reimbursement transactions.
- Serve as key contact for the communication agency and in-house graphics for the purpose of optimizing programs and materials.
- Travel up to 30% - Attend National and Regional trade events; actively participate in customer meetings; develop a strong network of managed care partners who can serve as consultants in evaluating, defining, and creating promotional materials and programs.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor Degree; strong preference for MBA
- Minimum of 7+ years marketing experience in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical or medical device industries
- 3+ years managed care marketing experience a MUST
- Knowledge of Managed Care Organization customer types, structure and market dynamics a must.
- Experience with multiple customer-facings: Managed Care Organizations, Pharmacists, Health Care Professionals, Retail, Distribution, Mail Service and Consumer

Salary: up to $100k + bonus
