MH Product / Brand Manager

Responsibilities: · Interfaces with Sales and R&D to insure timely product upgrades and introduction
· Provide Profit and Loss analysis to the head of category
· Assist in the development of promotional and advertising strategies for category and work to control and maintain promotional costs
· Follow up on all implementation work on new and re-packaged products to meet pre-determined time lines. The participation of multi-disciplinary teams is included
· Develop key contacts with industry influencers in category to grow trust and credibility of products
· Review sales forecasts monthly with Planning to determine trends and progress of promotional activities
· Conduct seminars and presentations to and on behalf of the various internal Sales Groups
· Maintain knowledge of the market trends and competitive activity. Responsible for securing competitive price list
· Participate in consumer focus groups to develop an understanding of consumer trends and preferences

Product/Brand Manager and Associate Product Brand Manager (2 levels)

Will assist category head in providing strategic direction for the assigned marketing category. Assist in developing and maintaining the business plan for category to effectively grow and mange the business with the marketing category in conjunction with the Sales and Research & Development departments. Network with Planning, Purchasing and Manufacturing to communicate Corporate Strategy. Assist in maintaining product forecasting and enhanced profitability.

Skills/Experience:
· 5-8 years of product marketing experience in a Fortune 500 traditional Consumer Packaged goods company (2-5 years for an Associate level)
· Experience developing & executing market strategies, managing day to day activities associated with product line/s, developing and launching new products, establishing/implementing pricing strategies & promotional programs, analyzing markets & sales trends, managing multi-functional business teams
· Profit and Loss Analysis
· Understanding of product management and product development is required
· Ability to manage timelines, meet deadlines and exceed expectations
· Computer literate; especially spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software
· High energy, creative, positive, and professional business style
· Demonstrated skill at multi-tasking
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Degree:
Bachelor’s degree is required, Master's degree very helpful
