Local Sales Director, Corporate Alliances Marketing

JOB SUMMARY:To implement and champion the Corporate Alliances mission statement. To manage current business and drive incremental revenue working collaboratively with General Manager and Regional Vice President of Corporate Alliances.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Identifying prospects, creating customized partnership platforms, closing local deals and coordinating and implementing all aspects of the sponsorship programs.
• Manage local accounts (from solicitation to implementation).
• Collaborate on a daily basis with the RVP and General Manager.
• Develop customized, integrated partnership platforms.
• Manage execution of deal points.
• Review all contracts with Six Flags Legal, and create term sheets on each partnership.
• Create and submit required reports.
• Communication with the Six Flags Great Adventure Management to ensure understanding and support for all Sponsorship initiatives.
• Responsible for annual budget and forecasting.
• Support the Park through Leadership and Operational Presence.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

REPORTS TO:
General Manager Directly, Marketing Director Indirectly
REQUIREMENTS
IDEAL CANDIDATE MUST POSSESS:
• SPORTS or ENTERTAINMENT marketing sales experience
• College Degree in Marketing, Management or related field
• Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, Power Point, MS project a plus
• Strong financial skills for budgeting purposes and the ability to analyze statistical information
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to make presentations to Corporate, Park management and Fortune 500 clients
• Must be organized with excellent time management skills
• Understanding of various disciplines of Marketing and how they work together
• Familiarity with promotions, advertising and media
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• 5 years of Sales, Advertising or Promotions experience
• Creative Development experience
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
• Ability and willingness to travel
