Responsibilities:
This individual will be responsible for supporting the Sr. Marketing Manager in the development and implementation of marketing plans and strategies, business development strategies, new client managed care marketing and communications deliverables; Will support the Managed Care sales and account team in collaborating with clients and prospects to meet Managed Care sales objectives and goals; The Lead Marketing Specialist will be an integral contributor to the implementation of newly won managed care contracts for specialty pharmacy ensuring a smooth transition for payer clients and members; Will determine strategies and tactics to increase utilization of Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy by managed care clients and members and deliver business growth; The incumbent will be responsible for all marketing-related activities including industry/market/competitor research, development of sales collateral, development of sales presentations, events, industry conferences, trade shows support, direct marketing, and managed care plan-specific marketing and member communications deliverables requirements.

Qualifications:
Five to Seven years of marketing experience, preferably in a healthcare or managed care industry; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Must have hands-on marketing experience with creative talent and the ability to think "outside the box" for unique methods of delivering key messages to the various managed care audiences; Ability to demonstrate effective interpersonal skills with all levels of people within and outside the company; Strategic thinker with the aptitude to assess and implement ideas; Strong understanding of marketing planning, program development and execution; Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and proficiently multi-task in a fast-paced and demanding atmosphere; May also be expected to contribute to other Specialty Pharmacy marketing projects deliverables as the need arises; Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
