Internal Communications Manager

KPMG LLP is the audit, tax and advisory firm with the strongest growth record over the past decade. We offer our clients industry insights and a multidisciplinary range of services. We are currently seeking an Internal Communications Manager to join us in our Atlanta office.
Responsibilities:

Manage the area communications activities

Develop and maintain a close working relationship with Tax, Audit and Advisory Services leaders in the area

Help ensure the messaging and overall program is consistent with personal leadership styles and voice

Develop collaborative relationships in order to effectively acquire relevant content for communications programs

Measure the program effectiveness on a regular basis

Develop competitive news briefings and other high level content for leadership's information

Share “best practices” with other communications professionals both in the area and nationally

Understand risk architecture and employer of choice initiatives in order to effectively plan and communicate area accomplishments and tactics

Draft a broad range of materials including internal leadership messages and talking points, newsletter articles, collateral, and advertorials

Design the Web site for the area, including navigational needs, content needs, and project management

Write clear, concise communications and materials that reinforce key firm messages

Help ensure the firm's risk management policies and standards are adhered to in materials that are submitted for Brand and Regulatory Compliance (B&RC) reviewQualifications:

BA/BS degree from an accredited college/university in Marketing, Communications or a related field

Outstanding verbal/written communication, listening, and interpersonal skills

Ability to prioritize against plans

Possess an understanding and sensitivity to working in a matrix environment

Ability to support a broad range of constituencies, including senior Partners

Solid prioritization and leadership skills

Five years of communications and writing experience, with a specific focus on mass, marketing, or employee communication
