Inside, Outside Sales and Marketing
Kon-Tiki Tours and Travel is a fast-moving company that specializes in customized tours to South America. Most of our marketing is done via the Internet through our website located at www.kontiki.org. Our clients read about our trips online and then contact us for more information. They either call or send us an email.
Job requires learning about our trips in order to advise client as to his choices, answer their questions and be able to put an itinerary together. Every package involves several factors such as airfare, transfers, hotels and tours, you must be able to put all these together. Knowledge of the destinations is preferable. Must be able to follow up with clients. Strong attention to detail is absolutely necessary.

Knowledge of our destinations is preferable: Peru, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia and Ecuador and Central America
Previous experience in travel
Passionate about travel
Excel, Word
Excellent oral communication skills
Excellent writing skills
Strong sense of honesty to the client and loyalty to our company
English must be easily understandable on the telephone to the average American
Must work well independently as well as being a team player
Ability to work on own initiative
