Sales and Business Development, Marketing, Knowledge Management and Global Markets Human Resources Manager:
This position serves as the primary HR support to over 600 employees in the Sales and Business Development, Marketing, Knowledge Management and Global Markets groups located across the US. An individual in this role has significant involvement in a variety of firm and HR initiatives from a National level as well as performance management and counseling, rewards and recognition, the annual review and compensation cycle, headcount, analysis and reporting. The position reports directly to the Functional HR Director for these groups and is a key member of the IFS HR team who coordinates with management, regional HR leaders and the IFS HR Functional Leaders on behalf of the practice.
Responsibilities include the following:
Career Management Provide advice and counsel to management on staffing, performance management, and employee relations. Support the annual performance review process and provide guidance to management and staff in respect to objectives and appraisals. Participate in the development of the IFS Career Model for Marketing, Sales and Business Development and Knowledge Management. Promote and support the IFS Coaching Program.
Recruiting/New Hire Assimilation Acts as a key liaison to recruiting and global deployment for experienced and temporary hires as well as tours of duty. IFS Requisition management as well as involvement in the recruiting and offer process. Plays a key role in assimilation of new hires into the organization, i.e., coaching assignments, new hire conference calls, and on-boarding.
Reporting/Operations Prepares monthly headcount reports for each group from information in PeopleSoft, HR Report Repository, GFS, etc. Management of all transactions in PeopleSoft including transfers, terminations, adjustments, etc. Responsible for the administration of separations and facilitation of the exit process (coordination with local HR, preparation of paperwork, etc.) Other reporting and support of firm programs as needed (Pulse Survey, Anniversary Program, Vacation, etc.)
Compensation Facilitates and provides guidance to partners and staff during the annual compensation and incentive process. Evaluates position descriptions and determines appropriate equity and/or compensation for staff and new hires Administration and management of We Recognize Great Performance requests (spot bonuses, gift certificates, etc.)
REQUIREMENTS
Education Requirement:
Bachelor's degree preferred
Essential Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources including compensation administration Professional service firm experience and working with sales and marketing staff preferred Team oriented; ability to work with staff and management at all levels Project management skills; ability to work with multiple constituency groups and tasks in a deadline oriented environment Negotiation skills, good written and verbal communication skills Attention to detail; ability to prioritize various on-going HR responsibilities and projects Ability to work with and maintain confidentiality and sensitive information Process and follow-up on transactions (transfers, engagements, separations, LOA, salary adjustments)
