Group Event Sales Coordinator

This position will be based within one of our high volume centers responsible for selling group events and following up on leads from prospective customers who walk in or contact the center via phone or the internet. Group events for this associate include birthday parties, social group events and (SMERF), etc.

Primary role would be inside sales, including sales blitzes. Duties include direct solicitation including prospecting and managing of accounts, preparation of proposals and contracts, and maintaining documentation and reports.

Must posses a high level of confidence, pride and professionalism. Strong communication skills. Assertive, self-motivated, innovative personality. Proficient with Microsoft Office Software/Word/Excel/Outlook and knowledge of database software preferred. Maintains a strong commitment to attain high customer service ratings.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of sales and administrative office experience, preferably in hotel sales, catering or service related industry with high volume face-to-face and telephone customer interaction.
