Graphic Design Director
Our client is best known globally for their athletic footwear. In addition, the company designs, develops, and markets fashionable apparel and accessories. It sells over 500 million pairs of shoes attracting from school kids to clothing designers. It has more than 100 company-owned and franchised stores worldwide.
Our client has an opening for Graphic Design Director position in New England area.
Key responsibilities:
-Work directly with Senior Creative Leadership at all outside communications firms: Advertising, Web, Graphic Design, and Publicity to execute high level strategy and ensure graphic standards across disciplines.
-Work with senior brand development and creative team to brainstorm and design marketing concepts and executions.
-According to individual initiatives, design and develop strategies and executions around publicity and events.
-Work with Global Creative Director, Writer and Brand Development to create and execute retail strategy for the company.
-Work with Insight Director, Trend Director and Materials Director to develop strategy and concepts of seasonal trend presentations to the internal design organization. Participate in Color Committee to help facilitate consolidation and consistency across product types
-Develop initiatives and maintain programs. Manage external resources for execution.
-Responsible for the development and strategy for key brand communications within the company.
REQUIREMENTS
Job requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree in Graphic design, Industrial design, or Architecture.
-7-10 years professional experience in brand development, graphic design and/or interior design/display.
-Strong in-house design experience.
-Excellent commercial design skills and compelling portfolio.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills in local market language, including meeting facilitation and presentations.
-Exceptional interpersonal skills: ability to lead others in a fast-paced mode of operations.
-Strong command of current trends in, and aspects, of sports, art, music and fashion.
