Graphic Design Associate, 8788

- The Graphic Design Associate is mid-level designer position, with responsibilities for updating, revising or redesigning existing marketing collateral (such as direct mail forms, buckslips, brochures, envelopes, ads, posters, etc.) for internal business partners. Creating and preparing new design concepts may also be required.
This position is part of the Digital Asset Management team, which provides quick-turn solutions for updating previously produced creative pieces.
This position also has responsibility for assisting with digitial asset management processes, which involves updating naming conventions as needed, working with the digital asset management supplier to ensure new files, images and/or card art are loaded onto the system, training new team members on how to use the digital asset management system to access, retrieve and store files and ensuring relevant metadata is tied to new and existing files, images and card art.
REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Associate or Bachelor's Degree in graphic design, marketing, advertising or communications. 2-6 years experience in advertising or marketing communication at an ad agency, design firm or corporate design team. This includes a sizeable amount of time spent designing advertising and marketing communications.
Macintosh experience-InDesign, Quark Xpress, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop are required.
Design capabilities, including the ability to do research and layout/typography are required.
Ability to multi-task, good attention to detail, work collaboratively as part of a team, effectively communicate thoughts and ideas, build and maintain postive working relationships with internal business partners and external suppliers, demonstrate a sense of urgency to meet deadlines and take initiative to implement process improvements.DESIRED SKILLS:
