Full Job Title: General Sales Manager - Print/Internet Advertising Sales and MarketingGeneral Sales Manager - Print/Internet Advertising Sales and MarketingFor Rent Magazine® - A Division of Dominion Enterprises (formerly known as Trader Publishing Company)Dominion Enterprises, the photo guide / classified publication industry leader in the US, seeks a General Sales Manager for our fourth largest operation in Sacramento CAWe are seeking a successful individual to manage all aspects of sales and marketing for current and new products including development of the sales staff. This position will report to the Regional Sales Manager Northwest.
Outstanding candidates will have documented experience developing and implementing revenue producing strategies through sound analysis, hands-on selling and motivating the sales team to achieve goals. Previous sales experience with print and/or Internet advertising is desirable. Experience selling within the multi-family housing or apartment property management industry experience is highly desirable. This business has exceptional growth potential in both current and potential new products. The right individual will have an opportunity to gain recognition, reward and career growth.QUALIFICATIONS WILL INCLUDE:
Proven ability to grow and maintain successful sales efforts in excess of $5M/yr within a competitive market
Proven leadership, management, sales abilities and experience
Familiar with bundling value propositions of print with technology or internet products
Able to exercise self-guided management judgment and work well in a team environment
Ability to build and develop a team (5 or more reps) of capable, high energy people who are motivated to grow a successful sales organization High energy level and strong interpersonal skills
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Experience hiring, supervising and training others
Experience preparing market analysis, strategic sales plans and managing P/L
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration (preferred)
Ability to travel up to 10% of timeRESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
Management of all aspects of sales including strategic planning and hands-on business development
Continuously improve market presence and sales of our products and services
Develop and motivate sales organization of 6-7 employees
Communication and relationship building with major customers
