Field Supervisor

The Field Supervisor provides team management, administration, and hands-on event work to carry out superior promotions for a specific client or program in a specific area. Primary responsibilities are staffing and managing the team who execute promotions at particular events, and actively working with the team to execute the promotions. Doing so in an effective way helps shape the relationship between Passage Events and its clients, working to broaden positive brand awareness for the client.The Field Supervisor recruits, hires, trains, manages, motivates and schedules staff to execute promotional activities in accordance with established promotional parameters. Additionally, the Field Supervisor obtains any necessary permits as needed, manages inventory, including shipping and receiving product used for promotional events and is responsible for pre-event site checks, event set up and tear down, event photos and recaps, and for completing and submitting staffing paperwork and timesheets in a timely manner, and troubleshooting problems as they arise. The Field Supervisor professionally handles all event equipment and vehicles to, from, and during events.Depending on the type of program, events may involve active sampling (constantly engaging customers talking about the samples), keeping accurate inventory counts of samples/gifts distributed, and may also be required to review forms. Additional tasks may be assigned as needed.Event Locations:
Events take place in a variety of fun venues including fairs, festivals, charitable walks/runs, parks, major sporting events and art museums just to name a few!!Schedules:
This is a full-time, benefit eligible position requiring flexible schedules including early mornings, evenings, holidays and weekends.Abbreviated List of Requirements:Experience in recruiting training, supervising, and motivating staff, ideally in a fast-paced, non-office environment.Experience interacting with clients and vendors is required.Must have a minimum of one year marketing experience, preferably with interactive marketing promotions.College degree in Marketing or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience
Demonstrate strong interpersonal and written communication skillsOutgoing, quick-witted and determined to accomplish goalsAbility to multi-task and work well in a fast-paced environment
Ability to interact with consumers, clients and contacts in a positive, professional mannerMust have a professional appearance (tattoos covered and excessive piercings removed)
Must adhere to event-appropriate dress code (Must own khaki shorts or pants and white or brown shoes)
Must be friendly and outgoing and enjoy interacting with people in a positive professional manner
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be able to lift up to 30-40 poundsMust be able to stand for long periods of timeMust be able to assist with set up and tear down of event stations Must be willing to work outside, which may include working in hot or cold weather.Candidates may be required to pass a criminal background check and a motor vehicle record check as part of the application process.Training requirements vary depending on event.
